I just found a November 2006 cutting from the Guardian Weekend magazine.
On its front cover it featured the movers and shakers of Web 2, the entrepreneurs who developed the technology so ordinary people like me can be more interactive on the web with comments and blogs etc.
Strikingly, there is one scant mention of Facebook in the feature, and its founder Mark Zuckerberg does not figure.
Wow, no one saw that coming…
Now Facebook has over 350 million active users.
That’s double the number a year ago.
So, will the Facebook bubble burst?
Or will it go on growing?
My intelligence says it will become the established way of having a mini-website.
Facebook will become like Google which has also grown and grown – a fixture on the web.
What do you think?
